Swimming Sprint Intervals

Morning
50 reps/hand 120lbs Captain of Crush
  1. 20 continuous fast reps/hand
  2. 10 closed 3 count reps/hand
  3. 10 continuous fast reps/hand
Evening
2x5 Underwater Lap Swim

a.) 10 squat jumps from the bottom of an 8ft. pool
b.) 3xME Dolphin Kick - rest 1min b/t
c.) 3xME Freestyle (no leg kicks) - rest 1min b/t
d.) 3xME Backstroke - rest 1min b/t
e.) 1xME Underwater swim

Results:

Evening

Notes:
I really enjoy doing squat jumps from the bottom of the deep end of the pool. I'm managing to get up to my waist out of the water. I'm hoping someday I will be at mid-quad.

The Dolphin kick and Freestyle without using my legs was fresh level of Hell. I thought my heart was going to jump out of my throat after the first two intervals of each. I'm not entirely sure how I managed to complete the third set of each at comparable intensity.

Tried to do the final underwater swim without coming up for air but I was gassed from the previous intervals and had to come up for a quick breath before the turnaround.
