Evening
A.) 4x140ft Overhead log carry @ 165lbs
B.) 2x10 Ab roller
C.) 2x10 Glute ham raise
Results
A.) UB/UB/UB/UB
B.) UB (from the knees)
C.) Comp (1 at a time)
Notes:
This session went pretty well. Originally the overhead log carry was going to be a 4xME but we were only getting 140ft before the overhead portion became dangerous and we can't drop Mark's strongman log (that sounded bad). Also, taking the time to turnaround at the 70ft mark was torture.
We threw in some easy ab work along with a movement neither of us have tried before: the glue ham raise. What. A. Nightmare.
Both Amy and I had to do negatives until we fell to the floor and had to use push up momentum to get back to a vertical position. This is an extremely difficult movement which I look forward to cycling into our exercise routine. I believe this one movement will hold the key to bigger squats and deadlifts for the both of us.
