Back Squat (PR) + Auxiliary/Med Ball Thruster Toss

Morning
A.) Work to a 1RM back squat
B.) 2x15 Reverse hyper
C.) FT: 400m Med ball thruster toss @ 30lbs

Results
A.) 45/155/245/335/385/405/415/435/455(PR)/478
B.) Comp @ 165
C.) 7:52

Notes:
Well, I didn't really see that coming. I knew I could match my previous PR on backsquat of 435, but I didn't realize that I was so much stronger. The bar was set up at 485lbs but I was using a few kilo plates so by the end of all the math I had to take off 8lbs. No big deal.

I will say that 478lbs was near my 'true max'. That bar didn't feel heavy at the top but it felt like a ton coming out of the bucket. I'm really happy with the results (even if I have to take off a little weight) and a 40lbs+ PR is nothing to shake a stick at.

Hyper work and metcon were fine. I was still reeling from the med ball toss workout later that day. Needless to say, a giant burrito was consumed afterwards.
