I wanted to focus on squats for the entire session today, so that's pretty much all I did. I was running a little out of time (family obligations) and I wanted to get the most bang for my buck in this session.
So, my legs are a little sore this morning but I think I could have done the ascending squats sets at the original 300lbs I had planned on. Mostly I didn't think it was prudent to blow my legs out since I have stones planned for Tuesday and running/rowing today.
Pulled a sled for some auxiliary work, its been a long time since I've done it and now I know why. The trip downhill at DCF's 400m is pretty cake, but the asphalt becomes very gritty and slows the sled done something fierce on the way back.
Very good training session today, squats were great and the sled was an excellent finisher.
